On the Bench - Joan d’Arc
I’ve been working on this fantastic piece from Young Miniatures recently. I thought I’d share some of the work-in-progress shots as I work through the challenges NMM painting. So far I’ve been focussing on the steel, but I have the bronze detail elements blocked in. I’m trying something new this go around - I used my airbrush to soften up some of the tones after I did my initial sketch. I’ll post more shots as I go.

Here you can see the various pieces that I have mounted on sticks in order to paint them a bit more easily. The steel armor elements have all been base coated Scale 75 Green Grey.
I’ve already painted the face here. Sadly, I went too fast and really didn’t get any WIP shots on that. Sometimes you just gotta paint ;)
